When I met up with Carinne & Andy to discuss their engagement shoot plans, I’ve discovered that they enjoy their picnic outings. After some discussion, we decided to do a road trip and I’ll document this road-trip-in-the-lives-of-Carinne-and-Andy as their engagement session.

Weeks later, Carinne contacted me with much excitement that she had always wanted to row a boat in a lake, and she found a venue Forget Me Not. My mind went through this scene from The Notebook!

On the day, we drove around the Byron area but ended up at the Lennox Head Lookout for a picnic before we head to Forget Me Not for some row-mantic session. Lennox Head Lookout is an all-time favourite of mine with incredible backdrop of the beach from hinterland.

Carinne & Andy were the sweetest, they brought homemade sandwiches, warm drink in a thermos, guitar and their favourite soft toy sharks – Martha & McHugh who has significant roles in their love story. I watched with joy as I saw Carinne and Andy expressed their love to one another eye-to-eye, cheek to cheek. What a beautiful day spent with these two!

Can’t wait till their wedding day.
